Spec Homepage for Posada Los Granados Inn
A Venezuelan, family-owned inn
Spec Project:
Bilingual Homepage for Los Granados Inn.
Description:
Los Granados is a family-owned inn in Carora, Venezuela, looking to build brand awareness and increase bookings. Their only digital presence is through social media.
The project aimed to launch their first website for both Hispanic and English-speaking audiences. They sought to attract local travelers, neighboring Latin American tourists, and expand toward international tourism by offering guided tours through Venezuela, organized and led by Los Granados Inn.
The company’s mission is to promote regional and international tourism within the country.
Strategic Approach:
The project was developed in two separate processes.
First, I researched Spanish-speaking communities in Venezuela and neighboring countries, looking closely at cultural nuances, and crafted Spanish messaging with a familiar but standard tone. The goal was to sound natural to the broader Hispanic community—using a peaceful, inviting, and professional voice.
For the English version, the messaging highlighted different benefits. Since this audience would require higher travel expenses, the project expanded into promoting a guided tour package to make it more appealing, showcasing colonial-style inns, Caribbean landscapes, and other rich sceneries throughout Venezuela.
The English version’s tone was slightly more vibrant and exciting while maintaining the peaceful essence of Los Granados' brand voice.
